The hotel, while comfortable, had a smaller room than expected for the price point, especially since I booked with breakfast included. After some follow-ups, breakfast was confirmed, and my mother appreciated the variety, particularly noting several vegetarian options, which suited my family's dietary preferences. The staff were accommodating, allowing us a late checkout, which made our departure more relaxed. A special thanks to the front manager who assisted with our luggage. The hotel also seems to lack a concierge, which could enhance the experience. Despite its bustling surroundings, the room was largely insulated from outside noise when the windows were closed. The hairdryer was surprisingly powerful-ideal for those who appreciate that detail. A more competitive pricing strategy for returning guests could improve the value for families like mine. Macalister Hotel is a solid choice for families wanting easy access to local attractions, especially for those who share a love for vegetarian cuisine.
